Communicable Disease, Injuries, and Accidents
FEVERS
If your child experiences a fever of 100 degrees or higher you will be contacted to pick them up.
Children should be fever free (100 degrees or below) for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Motrin before returning to school.
Vomiting/Diarrhea
Children should be diarrhea and/or vomiting free for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child experiences either symptom at school you will be contacted to pick them up.
Injuries
If your child sustains a significant head injury or other serious injury you will be contacted by phone. Minor injuries are typically notified via a letter sent home with your student.
Accidents
Children are encouraged to keep a change of clothes in their book bag or the classroom. If your child has an accident and does not have clothes a parent will be contacted to bring clothes and assist with clean up if needed. Soiled clothing cannot be sent on the bus. A parent will be asked to pick up within 24 hours of the accident.
